Luxima Sensor Features

Ultra-High Frame Rates with ROI Flexibility

Luxima image sensors deliver exceptionally high frame rates—from several hundred FPS up to multi-thousand FPS, with lower-resolution windowing enabling even hundreds of thousands FPS in some models. This is invaluable for capturing fast-moving events in 3D scanning, motion analysis, laser triangulation, wafer inspection, and other time-critical industrial processes.

Global Shutter for Motion Artifact Elimination

All Luxima sensors utilize global shutter architecture, which avoids motion skew and distortion—critical in high-speed imaging where clarity and precision are non-negotiable

On-Chip ADCs & High-Bandwidth Data Output

Integrated 12-bit analog-to-digital converters and parallel LVDS or SLVS data output channels (ranging from 4 to 128) enable fast, high-throughput data capture with reduced system noise.

ROI and Windowing for Flexible Performance Scaling

Luxima sensors support multiple (up to 8) simultaneous Regions of Interest (ROI) and enable dynamic windowing in both X and Y axes. This allows designers to trade resolution for speed when needed, offering flexibility in real-time performance tuning.

High Sensitivity & Dynamic Range

Many models feature optimized pixel architectures, delivering strong responsivity and high dynamic range. For example:

  • LUX330 offers ~19.2 V/Lux-s responsivity, ~62 dB dynamic range, and frame rates up to 8,850 FPS at reduced resolution

  • LUX2810 supports HDR (dual-/triple-slope), high-speed capture up to 4,000 FPS at lower res, and strong analog performance

Compact, Integrable Form Factors

Luxima sensors are packaged in small, industry-standard formats—LCC or Ceramic µPGA—with footprints ranging from ~13×13 mm to ~39×38 mm. This compactness simplifies integration into space-constrained industrial systems
